Step 1: Photos

We use high-quality, clear photos to paint your dog portrait. For the most realistic results, try to take your photos in natural lighting. It’s also important to get down to your dogs eye level to capture the most expressive details in their face.

Step 2: Background

The artist can use the original background from the photo you selected in step 1, or you can select a different backdrop. Choose a background that complements your dog’s fur color and stands out against the frame. For example, yellow labs look great on a dark blue or purple background. Or pick a background that matches your pet’s favorite team colors, the American flag, or an outdoor scene.

The artist will create a design proof for your approval, and you’ll be able to request unlimited revisions until you’re completely satisfied with the result. Once you approve the portrait, it will be sent to print and shipped directly to you.
